Main Functionalities
Home Page
• Dashboard: The dashboard serves as the central hub, providing quick access to key functionalities such as student registration, student authorization, attendance marking, and attendance viewing.
Student Registration
1. Navigate to Student Registration
o Select the "Register Student" option from the home page.
2. Fill in Student Details
o Complete the registration form with the following information:
 Name: Full name of the student.
 Email: Student's email address.
 Phone Number: Contact number.
 Class: Designated class or grade level.
3. Capture Student Image
o Ensure the webcam is properly connected.
o Click on the "Capture Image" button to activate the webcam.
o Capture a clear image of the student. Review the image, and if satisfactory, proceed to save it.
4. Submit Registration
o Click the "Submit" button to save the student's information and image.
o A confirmation page will appear, indicating the successful registration of the student.
View and Authorize Students
1. View Registered Students
o Select the "View Students" option from the home page to display a list of all registered students.
2. Authorize Students
o Click on a student's name to access their detailed profile.
o To authorize the student for face recognition, check the "Authorize" box.
o Save the changes by clicking the "Save" button.
Mark Attendance
1. Start Face Recognition
o Choose the "Mark Attendance" option from the home page to activate the webcam for real-time face recognition.
2. Recognize Faces
o The system will scan and recognize faces from the live webcam feed.
o Upon successful recognition, the system will automatically mark the student's attendance.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
o The system will log both check-in and check-out times.
o An audible confirmation will indicate successful attendance marking.
View Attendance Details
1. View Attendance Records
o Select the "View Attendance" option from the home page to display detailed attendance records.
2. Attendance Information
o The records include:
 Check-In Time: Time when the student checked in.
 Check-Out Time: Time when the student checked out.
 Duration: Total time spent in class.
