At GHPS Aghanashini, our Kriya school in Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka, the arrival of the Lab Station has transformed science learning. Teachers began using the materials to teach science experimentally for every student in the class from Day 1! …. But the change didn’t stop there. The resources provided to this school enabled the science teacher, Mr, Tilak Nayak, to invite teachers from nearby schools to observe, learn, and adopt experiential methods. One empowered teacher community is building many more. Through Kriya, we’re seeing science education evolve—classroom by classroom, cluster by cluster.
Kriya aims to understand the impact of experiential learning of science on the development of competencies in school students in India. The project intends to transform schools, empower teachers, and enrich student learning experiences, particularly for segments of society that lack such learning opportunities through a multi-year partnership with schools.

Kriya’s comprehensive set of integrated resources covers material considerations, teacher empowerment and research-based learning resources.
