Hamilton Financial Planning is a fee-only Investment Advisory firm.  We focus on financial planning and managing client's investments to help clients meet their financial goals.  Dimensional Funds for Advisors (DFA) is our primary investment choice, but we are not limited to, nor compensated in any way for using DFA funds.  We appreciated DFA's focus on academic research combined with evidence-based investing.  We like their style.

About Scott Hamilton

Scott Hamilton is the owner and founder of Hamilton Financial Planning (HFP), a fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm.  Scott has both a CFP (R) and an MBA in International Finance combined with an undergraduate degree in Finance.  In this role, Scott works with clients to help plan for and manage their financial affairs.  He has personally completed well over 250 financial plans and manages millions of dollars for his clients.

Scott's corporate background was with Exxon, Dell, and a Boston Consulting firm.  In these roles, Scott was typically a Product Manager, Program Manager, or Sr. Consultant working to align global teams and business owners requirements vs resources. 

Gayle and Scott have two fine young men, both attending college (The Citadel and Ole Miss) and enjoy spending time in Austin with family and friends.  They also enjoy raising two Weimaraner dogs.
