Was pleasantly surprised to see so many of the roses still blooming away; the moment I arrived, I could pick up on some of the wonderful scents. I came here on the spur of the moment because I had my late mother on my mind and always connect her with roses. She absolutely loved them and I know she would have loved this garden.

Having been here countless times, I normally take my time and leisurely stroll, admire and smell the roses. This is a more rapid overview to show the layout of this wonderful place. It was a Sunday, very warm with lots of people laying in the grass, relaxing with friends or family, etc. You do pick up the sounds of some of the city activities nearby & It seemed some work was being done.
