King Hezekiah Trusted God

Sennacherib sent messengers to Hezekiah with the order: 10“Tell Hezekiah king of Judah: ‘Do not let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you by saying that Jerusalem will not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. 11Surely you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the other countries, devoting them to destruction. Will you then be spared?


But King Hezekiah trusted the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for deliverance from Sennacherib



Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. He held fast to the LORD and did not cease to follow him; he kept the commands the LORD had given Moses. And the LORD was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook
