Finally we're covering how you'd buy and download games from the 3DS eShop, with a special look at what game pages would look like before they released! There were also several requests as replies to one of my Mastodon posts when I asked which games I should show in this video, so I show those first before buying stuff.

About this series: Back on March 27, 2023, the 3DS and Wii U eShops both closed. This video series covers what the 3DS eShop looked like before its closure, so that anyone that missed it can experience it in some form.

If you haven't yet redownloaded software you previously deleted, you may still be able to when this video goes up. I highly recommend doing this as soon as possible before Nintendo shuts down that part.

Sorry, I really don't want to keep doing subtitles for super long videos. I know it's important, I just don't have the energy.

The guy that's making the last 3DS and Wii U eShop games was getting really sus in recent videos with regards to political stance and I don't recommend watching his stuff or supporting him.

(This video was edited with Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Studio. Rendered/encoded with my Nvidia card in Resolve [not sure how to get Resolve on Linux to allow using CPU encoding for H.264]. Recorded with a Canon Vixia HF R700, an Audio-Technica ATR2500-USB, Audacity. Subtitles would've been extracted and edited with DaVinci Resolve Studio to make it easier but I didn't do it this time because it makes me burn out, sorry. I'm dedicating this series to the mistreated Nintendo contract workers. I hope things change for the better. I did hear that there were changes being implemented to get rid of the two-tiered thing, but I don't know if that's a rumor or a confirmed thing.
