Hi, Dye The Safe Guy here, Dye Hawley manager of the Safe and Vault Store we're here today to talk about the Gardall FB2013 Burglar Fire Safe.

The Gardall burglar fire safe comes standard with a Sargent and Greenleaf dial combination lock. It can be upgraded at an additional cost to a Sargent and Greenleaf digital lock. It also features 2 adjustable and removable shelves. 2.2 feet of cubic space and the dimensions are 27 tall by 20 wide and 21 inches deep. This safe features a powder coated paint finish which is electrostatically impregnated into the steel which is much better than the standard automotive paint that some safes have. In addition there is a standard anchor hole in the center for anchoring the safe securely to concrete or wood.

Another nice feature about the Gardall is the two hour fire rating. It also has a UL one hour fire rating, and a UL Residential Security Container burglar rating. Another great security feature about the Gardall is the lock has a glass relocker shown by this simulation here. Between the lock and the steel in the door is a piece of tempered glass that has a thin cable attached to the lock. When a bad guy tries to drill out the lock in the safe the glass breaks and fires the relocker preventing these bolts from retracting keeping the door shut. So no matter if they drill the lock out the door is going to remain in a closed position.
