The bones of the former tyrant stir once more...

The Skeletron illustration is here! I had mentioned in community posts that August 4th marked the 10th anniversary of me playing Terraria and wanted to get this done for that date, but I didn't quite make it in time. But oh well, it's not too long after, and I took the extra time to polish up the piece further :) As you all know by now Terraria is a game I deeply adore. It is my all time favourite game, and so I poured my all into this piece and I gotta be honest, currently it's my favourite ^^

To be honest, back when I started this series the Skeletron video was the one I had the clearest idea for lol, I had thought of the idea with the head up in the middle and the arms down either side of the screen with the timelapse in the middle and knew that that would be the format I used for this. Plus we have gotten our first animated cutscene with the duo! In terms of the music side of things, I didn't want to reuse Boss 1 yet again, and although Skeletron will likely have his own theme in the next update, said update of course isn't released yet, but I decided that, to go with the more serious vibe of this video, the version of Boss 1 when you use the Otherworldly Tracks would be perfect, and it was. Really helped give this foreboding boss an even more ominous presence :D

Terraria Legends Lore Ahead

After the improvised battle against the Queen Bee, the duo finished their exploration of the Underground Jungle and then did some more resource gathering across Terraria. Many times of which had they passed the ominous structure made of blue bricks known as the Dungeon. The duo knew at some stage they'd like to venture into it. Surely there would be some amazing loot there! But above that, they also wanted to save the Old Man they had met outside of it... he carries a terrible curse, as he and the one who guards the Dungeon are bound together, and the man is unable to leave. Via suggested they get some loot from the dungeon, but the man said that the Dungeon Guardian would be able to get the jump on them from within the tight corridors.

Our heroes didn't want to leave the man in this state, so they devised a plan. They would gear up as best they could to defeat the guardian. Via used some of the platinum bars that Orion had obtained combined with a couple of diamonds to make a brand new staff that would replace her golden one. Orion worked with the Demolitionist to use the materials from the Queen Bee to make a type of grenade that would have a buzzy side effect. He had gotten some of these so called Beenades before from the Bee herself upon her defeat, and they proved to be quite effective against enemies. Those used in conjunction with some Bone Javelins and Via's Diamond Staff and Space Gun will surely prevail. But once they met the Old Man at night and initiated the battle, they realised this would be tougher than they thought... will our heroes prevail?

Well if you've watched to the end of the video already then yeah they made it out alive lmao. As shown in the boss line-up, the next Terraria video will be a big deal. Our heroes will face the Wall of Flesh and finish the Pre-Hardmode stage of the game, so I want to make sure that that video comes out exactly how I have planned. But let's not worry about that for now, next in the schedule is the next Project Dream video regardless! But I may have another video planned a few days from now???... see you all then ;)
