China and India have reached an arrangement on patrolling along a disputed frontier in the Himalayas. This comes ahead of the BRICS summit, where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi could meet Chinese leader Xi Jinping on the sidelines. Tensions had been simmering since clashes in 2020, which led to the deaths of at least 20 Indian and four Chinese soldiers. Beijing and New Delhi have accused each other of trying to seize territory along their unofficial divide, called the Line of Actual Control. Ishan Garg reports from New Delhi.
