A family catastrophe in

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) General Director Meinie Nicolai described visiting the clearly marked MSF shelter in Al-Mawasi #Gaza that was hit with a tank shell on February 20, 2024.

"I visited the two young women [who were injured]. Their faces burnt, their hands burnt, their mother burned to death, and the sister-in-law as well," said Nicolai. "This whole family, it's a catastrophe."

This is a story that MSF staff have experienced, but there are so many other horrific stories we hear from our patients, and we see in our clinics. This needs to stop now.
