Scrap buster #57 Mushroom bonanza with crumbs and strings

If I make a template, I like to use at least few times. That is what inspired this block. While I was working on previous project I though at certain stage it really looks like a mushroom so why not to make few more and call it Mushroom Bonanza? There is a bonus of extra block which comes from snowballing the tops of mushroom so I have 2 designs in one. I haven’t put this one together yet as I want to add some other autumn motives to the mix.
I have used various fabrics (new, recycled, shirts) as well as crumbs. And string blocks made from the same fabric, these really fitted here. I love extra seams; they always add to the texture of the design. Happy sewing!
