Take a trip in the traditional pletna boat to Bled Island and climb up the 99 steps to the Church of the Mother of God on the lake. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, make a wish, and ring the wishing bell. Have a look at the lake and its surroundings from the 52 m high bell tower.

Slovenia is beautiful in any time of the year but if I would need to choose the best one according to our past guests, it would be April-May and September-October. In April-May, nature is waking up and starting to become green, the temperatures are pleasant, 20-25ºC (68-77F). In September-October it is still warm but not hot anymore like in summer, those wanting to take a swim in Adriatic can still do it. The temperatures are 20-25ºC (68-77F) and the sea temperature is around 20ºC (68F). In October, the trees start to change its colours in beautiful shades of the fall.
