On Monday 4 May 2020, UCL Chemical Engineering hosted a taster lecture entitled: Small things, big impact: particle technology in chemical engineering

Abstract:

Particle technology is affecting our daily life without us noticing it. Many products of our daily life, ranging from instant coffee to pharmaceuticals and even medical analysis (such as antibody or antigen tests that are currently in the media for Covid-19 detection) rely on well-engineered particles. Hence, particle technology has its well-earned place in chemical engineering research for reasons explained with several examples in this talk.

Presented by:

Dr Maximilian Besenhard, Postdoctoral Researcher at UCL Chemical Engineering.
