Everyone has to start their career somewhere, and in these archival tapes we hear John sing four songs for an audition for a contract at Capitol records in 1964. We now know that did not happen, but we have these early tapes to appreciate John's dedication to his craft. We do know how far he progressed. That's something to celebrate!
