✨ Pause to Practice ✨

These short practices invite us to weave 10–15 minutes of intentional pause into the flow of our day or night — bringing consistency to strengthen our capacity for mindful engagement within all the situations and circumstances of our lives.

Each time we pause to practice, we deepen our ability to perceive with openness and clarity, and to respond rather than react — to act from intention and alignment, rather than from old, wounded, or conditioned patterns shaped by family, society, or culture.

On a special note with this practice I joyfully and gratefully share a special invitation to ✨ 🪶Buffalo Woman’s Lodge of Wholeness 🌈✨ at the Journey Space in Glen Echo for an evening circle and two-day weekend workshop early December (details below).

Brooke Medicine Eagle is an elder whose embodied teachings arise from a profound relationship with Mother Earth and decades of devotion to living in good relations with all beings.

My connection with Brooke began years ago when I first read Buffalo Woman Comes Singing—a book that felt truly alive, inspiring me to travel to Montana to study with her on sacred land. Since then, I’ve had the honor of hosting her in DC and joining her for women’s circles and retreats in Colorado and England.

Every time I sit with Brooke, I feel enlivened, inspired, empowered, and deeply connected to mystery and divine love.

This special gathering offers a rare opportunity to spend two full days in circle with Brooke, sharing in teachings, song, and collective renewal.

I can’t wait to share this sweet weekend with the beautiful hearts and voices will join us.
