"A Characteristic Rag Time Two Step March". Louis Rene Villars (1878-1942) was born in Louisiana and studied law at Tulane University in New Orleans. This ragtime march with the unusual title might be his only published composition. It was published by L. Grunewald in New Orleans in 1900.

This is a reproduction of the original score. Several minor corrections were made. In playback I've ignored many of the plentiful fermatas, and it's left to the performer how to interpret these.
