Jean Sibelius (1865-1957)

Sibelius's flower opus was composed between 1916-17. These were difficult years because of the First World War and Sibelius's royalties from abroad were interrupted. To be able to improve his economy he wrote smaller pieces, like these five morceaux for piano, to be published in Finland.
