BAIC MZ40: Compact but roomy carrier with cargo truck toughness

Compact but roomy carrier combining passenger van comfort with cargo truck toughness. Shorter than a sub-compact sedan but has the 3 seating rows and ample cargo space to transport as many as 8 adults and their luggage. Inherently rigid box shape is made even stronger with durable body-on-frame construction, traditional rear-wheel-drive puts the workload on a ruggedly solid rear axle, and payload to haul over 600kg in passengers or cargo. Powered by the strong yet compact A12 1.2liter gasoline engine.

High compression and variable valve timing technology combine to produce 80hp and 108Nm of torque (well above the critical hundred mark for cargo haulers).

5-speed manual transmission has deep enough ratios on low gears to ensure ample torque when hauling a full load (even
uphill), and sufficiently tall ratios on high gears for efficient
cruising.
