This is what is known as a randomized nuzlocke of pokemon yellow version. This means:

All trainer's, traded, given/gifted, and wild pokemon are random
All legendary pokemon are randomized to other legendaries.
All items found in the world are random
All tm's have random moves and compatibility is based on typing
Any pokemon that faints is considered "dead" and can no longer be used
Only the first pokemon encountered in each route may be caught
If the encountered pokemon has already been caught, then you may re-encounter until a new pokemon appears
If the whole team dies then one pokemon may be revived and can continue from there. This can only happen once.
