Surah Al-Mulk
سورة الملك
Surah Al-Mulk reminds us of Allah’s greatness, His control over the universe, and the reality of life after death. It teaches us to reflect on creation and prepares the believer for the Hereafter.

Ayah Translation (67:1–2):
“Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He is over all things competent. He who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed—and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving.”

Surah Name & Number: Surah Al-Mulk (Chapter 67 of the Holy Qur’an)

Importance / Significance:

Known as “The Protector” (Al-Mani’ah)
Shields the reciter from the punishment of the grave
Strengthens faith in Allah’s power and mercy
Encourages reflection and gratitude


The Prophet ﷺ said: “Surah Al-Mulk is the protector from the torment of the grave.” (Tirmidhi)
