Epoxy Resin Hoop Fishing Net Build

Making a custom net from scratch can be a challenge, but trying to make one never before seen is just straight up fun!

Follow along as I muddle through making a net with a hoop featuring a hand-carved tributary design and a live edge maple handle filled with gorgeous blue epoxy resin from TotalBoat.

TotalBoat was awesome and hooked me up with resin kit and color pigment for this build to test out the design, and I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. The resin mixed and poured easily and set up quickly with no visible bubbles when it set up. Love, love, love it!

‪@grizzlymachines‬ tools throughout the shop! Bandsaw, drum sander, combo sander, etc.
‪@sawstop‬ table saw, 3HP PCS. An absolute must-have.
Starbond Adhesives. I used the thick and medium types and they're amazing!
‪@DremelUS‬ rotary tool for the routing of the net hook channel.
