The Dane is the result of a collaboration between guitarist Peter Honoré and UK pedal builder Adrian Thorpe. After many years touring with artists from the likes of Tom Jones, Lionel Ritchie, Paloma Faith and Atomic Kitten, “Danish Pete” has gotten a pretty good idea on what works and what doesn’t in his guitar rig. In order to maintain his signature sound of articulate drive and clean boosted tones, the Dane combines a dynamic overdrive with a versatile boost, allowing you to sculpt your tone and stack the circuits to accomplish many tasks on stage or in the studio. Plus, you can leave the boost on all the time or kick it on for a lead, since the Boost is wired before the Drive and can easily increase gain without losing it’s signature sound. Like every Thorpy pedals, the Dane is handbuilt in England with the utmost precision and attention to detail, using a durable, laser-etched enclosure and premium components known for low noise and consistency.
