This fabric landscape painting was created 02Dec2023 and took approximately 20 hours to complete. “Fireside Friends” is a fabric painting was created for my good friend to celebrate his birthday.

Inspired by photos taken around fires I’ve enjoyed with him. Very good times.

Sewn using my Juki DX-2000QVP and various 100% cotton fabrics (hand-painted batiks, quilting, prints, and novelty) on a background of black cotton canvas grey. I used 100% cotton and cotton/polyester blend threads. This was my first time using canvas as a background. I will use canvas again.

The finished piece is approximately 18” x 22”.
