Tonight, we take a look at this Lavaloo- … wait… you’re telling me there’s a Lava Hound deck out there without a Balloon in it?! You’ve gotta be KIDDING me!!

That’s right, tonight we take a look at this Lava-NO-Loon deck that is shockingly good in the current meta.

The Idea behind this deck is to send in your Lava Hound time after time until you get an opportunity to either chip away at your enemy’s tower or break through with one of your deadly support cards. You generally save your Tombstone and Guards for defense, while of course using your Inferno Dragon and Mega Minion as necessary.

In single elixir time, you will typically send your Lava Hound in with only one support card - ideally the Inferno Dragon or Mega Minion, reserving the alternatives for defense in the opposite lane.

Your miner has a specific role - shut down pumps, and destroy enemy support units (musketeers, wizards, etc.). Use him wisely - not wastefully. In double elixir time, you can afford to be a little bit more aggressive with him, and consider using him as a mini-tank or to provide chip damage on the enemy’s tower.

The off-meta lightning spell allows you to catch your opponent off-guard, and destroy whatever they place to counter your Lava Hound for a deadly surprise.

Be sure to shut down pumps with your Lightning or Miner - you cannot allow your enemy to snowball with an elixir advantage against this deck! Keep them on their toes!
