In this video, we will take you through the step-by-step process of how to verify your Youtube account to let you get started with your video marketing on Youtube as a platform

Verifying your YouTube account enables additional features and functionalities, such as the ability to upload videos longer than 15 minutes, create custom thumbnails, and live stream. To verify your YouTube account, follow these steps:

Sign in to your YouTube account: Go to the YouTube website (www.youtube.com) and sign in using your Google account credentials.

Go to YouTube Studio: Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the page and select "YouTube Studio" from the drop-down menu.

Open settings: In the YouTube Studio dashboard, look for the "Settings" option in the left-hand menu and click on it.

Access the "Channel" settings: In the settings pop-up window, click on the "Channel" tab.

Navigate to the "Feature Eligibility" section: Within the "Channel" tab, find the "Feature Eligibility" section and click on the "Status and Features" link.

Click "Verify": In the "Status and Features" section, you'll see a "Verify" button next to your account status. Click on the button to begin the verification process.

Choose your country and verification method: In the verification screen, select your country from the drop-down menu and choose your preferred method for receiving the verification code, either via a text message to your phone or an automated voice call.

Provide your phone number: Enter your phone number in the provided field, making sure to include the country code if required. Then, click "Submit."

Enter the verification code: Once you receive the verification code via your chosen method, enter the code into the appropriate field on the YouTube verification page and click "Submit."

Confirmation: If you've entered the correct verification code, you'll see a confirmation message on the screen, and your YouTube account will now be verified.

After verifying your account, you can enjoy the additional features and functionalities that come with a verified YouTube account. Note that verification is different from having a verification badge, which is a checkmark next to your channel name and indicates an official, authentic channel.
