https://asimplyfab.life/ Getting to grips with the Melges 20 racing boat. The wind was gusting strongly on the Lac St. Croix at the foot of the Gorge du Verdon. This was the second time the boat had been taken out, and with a new crew as well. Plenty of speed and it certainly got up out of the water when a gust of wind arrived! (i think we need a faster chase boat). Thanks to Franck, Renaud and the guys at centre Nautique Bauduen for the use of the sailing school and their enthousiasm. Stay tuned for some more action as we discover what the boat can do and possibly get some race time...
