Arturia SEM V2 is a software emulation of the legendary Oberheim SEM (Synthesizer Expander Module). It faithfully recreates the unique analog sound and character of the original hardware synthesizer while adding modern features and capabilities.

It accurately reproduces the rich, warm, and fat analog sound of the Oberheim SEM, capturing its distinctive oscillators, filters, and modulation capabilities.

SEM V2 features two discrete oscillators with continuously variable waveforms (sawtooth, square, and pulse) and pulse-width modulation.

It includes a 12dB/octave multimode filter with low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass modes, known for its creamy and musical resonance.

SEM V2 offers versatile modulation capabilities with two LFOs (Low-Frequency Oscillators), two ADSR envelopes, and an innovative modulation matrix for flexible routing of modulation sources and destinations.

It comes with built-in effects including chorus, delay, and reverb, allowing users to add depth and dimension to their sounds.

While the original SEM was monophonic, Arturia SEM V2 adds polyphonic capabilities, allowing users to play chords and harmonies.

SEM V2 comes with a wide range of presets covering classic analog sounds, as well as modern patches. It also offers extensive preset management features for organizing and saving custom patches.
