Ingredients:
1 medium beetroot (boiled or steamed, grated, and excess water squeezed out)1 medium potato (boiled and mashed)1/2 cup paneer (crumbled or grated)1 green chili (finely chopped)1 tsp ginger paste or grated ginger2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves (chopped)1/2 tsp garam masala1/2 tsp chaat masala (or lemon juice)Salt to taste2-3 tbsp cornflour, oats flour, or more breadcrumbs (for binding, if needed)Breadcrumbs (for coating)Oil for shallow frying
Instructions:
Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the grated beetroot, mashed potato, crumbled paneer, chopped green chilies, ginger paste, coriander leaves, garam masala, chaat masala, and salt.Adjust consistency: Add the cornflour/oats flour/breadcrumbs and mix well to form a firm, non-sticky mixture that can hold its shape. If the mixture is too wet, add more binding agent.Shape the cutlets: Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small, flat, round, or oval patties.Coat: Roll each cutlet in the breadcrumbs to coat evenly on all sides.Cook: Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the cutlets in the pan and shallow fry for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with green chutney, ketchup, or a yogurt dip🥰👌
