This Chevelle has sizzle. The deep dark color looks like you could dive into it, the big chrome wheels sparkle. The performance is impressive, that's obvious the instant the motor fires up!

There are minor chips and imperfections if you look for them. The Stripes are painted on. New vinyl top. New weatherstrips and window seals on the doors. All the chrome and trim were replaced when the car was restored. It's rolling on chrome Torque Thrust wheels- 17s in front, 18s in back.

INTERIOR: It was lined with sound proofing. Custom sport seats will hold you in place as you're shifting the gears and carving up the road. It also has upgraded 3 point retractable seatbelts. The door panels, armrests and rear seat has all been reupholstered. The headliner and visors are redone. New dash pad, custom instrument panel with a full set of Pro Comp gauges. It also has a Billet Specialties steering wheel. Modern Kenwood stereo with speakers in the kick panels and rear shelf. Down on the floor it has nice carpet, embroidered SS mats and a center console.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 400 miles on the rebuilt 1970 396 motor. It's been bored and stroked to a 440 making about 500 hp. It's a full roller motor, forged rotating assembly and Huggins cam. It has an Edelbrock intake, a giant polished dual feed Holley carb with electric choke and premium fittings, an MSD ignition system, and a set of coated headers. The front of the motor is decked out with the March Billet pulley and serpentine belt system, billet brackets, chrome alternator and polished A/C compressor. Hydroboost power steering and power brakes with stainless braided hoses. It runs cool with a big aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. Custom front filler panel. New wiper motor. It's a sharp looking motor compartment!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid metal. The battery has been relocated to the trunk along with a subwoofer speaker. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth and glossy. The weather strip was replaced.

UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted off the frame and was given polyurethane body bushings. The front end steering and suspension was rebuilt. It was lowered with drop spindles and lowering springs. Upgraded swaybar and a quick ratio steering box. In back it has upgraded Edelbrock control arm system and a fatter swaybar. Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 wheels. E-brake cables are hooked up. Upgraded Edelbrock rear control arm system and swaybar. Awesome sounding 3 inch dual exhaust with crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and SS tips. The fuel system has been replaced, braided stainless fuel line. Looking up at the motor it's spotless Chevy Orange and has a high torque starter with a heat shield. Keisler TKO 600 5-speed trans with a hydraulic clutch. Rebuilt drive shaft with a safety loop. 12 bolt rear end with 33 spline Moser axles, Eaton posi with 4.10 Richmond gears and a Perfect Launch aluminum cover. The floors appear to be all solid metal painted black.

Truly a show and go car. Looks and sounds amazing. A blast to drive.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
