**UPSC 2020 NEW EXAM DATE | UPSC Official Notification | Revised Exam Date for UPSC Prelims & Mains**
**UPSC 2020 Civil Services Exam Date Announced: Prelims on October 4th 2020, Mains on January 8th 2021**
As per the UPSC Exam calendar, the UPSC Civil Service (Prelims) Exam 2020 was scheduled for 31st May 2020. However, with the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country, it was not possible to conduct the exam on a pan India basis with more than 9 lakh candidates to appear for the same.

But today, UPSC on its official website confirmed that the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam will be conducted on 4th October 2020 and Mains Exam will be conducted on 8th January 2021.
