After years of incarceration, many individuals find themselves struggling when rejoining society. Effective reintegration can be the most important step in successful reentry. The Washington Department of Corrections aids this journey by allowing soon-to-be-released individuals access to partial confinement programs if they are eligible.

Before full release, individuals can enter one of three Reentry programs: Reentry Centers, Community Parenting Alternative, or Graduated Reentry. Each program offers personalized assistance with finding employment, housing, treatment, and more outside a facility.
