❗️Reparations is part of the process of restoring peace and justice. This was repeatedly emphasized at the international conference “Restoring the Rights of Survivors of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence: An Element of Peace and Global Security”, which took place on March 4-5 in Kyiv and was co-organized by JurFem.

“Justice for the Ukrainian victims is now a mirror for the whole world,” Olena Zelenska said during the conference.

One of the key topics was the regulatory framework for providing reparations to victims. Therefore, it is extremely important for Ukraine to adopt a draft law that will provide victims with legal status and outline possible forms of interim reparations. It is important to provide reparations to victims now, not after the victory. And draft law No. 10132 was at the heart of these discussions.
