After a 10 year pause, I have returned to making Gunka videos.

This song is quite an interesting item as it remained popular post-war and was remade numerous times, notably in the 70s by a band called the Drifters (   • Видео  ).

The songwriter is unknown, very likely a soldier who later died during the war. The Enka melody and obscure as well as sad lyrics make this one timeless in my opinion.

As usual, I stress that no political expression is meant, and that this is a historical document that I have tried to recreate.
