At least eight people, including three children and five women, have been killed in a road accident in Baniapara Sadar Upazila, Joypurhat, Bangladesh. The accident occurred on Friday at around 1 pm and the deceased have not yet been identified. Joypurhat Fire Service and Civil defense officer Sirajul Islam said, "A bus overturned on the road after its driver lost control over the steering, around 1 pm, leaving eight people dead on the spot." A team of the Fire Service is working to rescue injured people and recover the bodies of the deceased. Public anger has grown in Bangladesh following several deadly fire accidents and road accidents happened in recent years.
