The nuances not captured to my ears where the DRRI having a larger overall sound, mid scooped, and a more detailed bass.

The PRRI has more midrange, closer to a tweed amp tonally but cleaner, with a loose bass end, and a somewhat richer sound at the cost of less note definition.
