Despite India’s unwavering loyalty, the Trump Administration has responded with the Trump Tariff—a move that threatens to cripple our economy. Instead of rewarding a trusted partner, the US has chosen to impose protectionist policies that directly harm Indian businesses and workers.

In light of this, today in Parliament, I demanded answers from the Union Minister for Communications:

❓ Why is the Indian Government not using Starlink’s approvals as leverage to renegotiate the unfair Trump Tariffs? Instead of handing out regulatory clearances on a silver platter, shouldn’t we strategically withhold permissions to force a fairer trade deal?

❓ How does the Government plan to counter Starlink’s refusal to share critical data with Indian authorities? If Elon Musk’s Starlink can defy Indian laws under the guise of data privacy, what steps will be taken to prevent national security risks and potential misuse of this foreign-controlled satellite network?

India cannot afford to be a passive spectator while its economy and sovereignty are compromised. Strong action is needed—now.
