Being a student athlete is often times portrayed and glamorized in a way that can be deceiving to some student athletes. Understand that the movies, magazines and other forms of media do represent some student athletes' journey but not all and it's important for you to know that beforehand.

In the is video I do my best to discuss some universal things that transfers across all student athletes. Some of these things you may already know but others may take some time. It's all about having the right mindset beforehand so that you can limit the amount of times you bump your head on the same things so many other student athletes did before you.

I hope that this video serves as a little student athlete motivation so that you can be the very best you can be both in your sport and outside of it.
