Veteran BJP leaders LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi met this evening, hours after the Supreme Court ruled that they will be tried on conspiracy charges for their alleged role in the demolition of the Babri Masjid mosque in 1992 in Ayodhya. Along with them, Union Minster Uma Bharti and other party seniors like Vinay Katiyar now also face more serious charges. So far, the BJP leaders were being tried for making incendiary speeches that instigated the mob that brought down the 16th century mosque.
