Context:
In this What If scenario, when Bulma summons Shenron to revive Goku in time to fight Nappa and Vegeta, something goes wrong. Instead of Shenron, the Evil Dragon appears, manifesting the Shadow Dragons as a consequence of the Dragon Balls' accumulated negative energy.
The Z Fighters decide to hunt down the Shadow Dragons to collect the Dragon Balls. Kami, realizing the severity of the situation, fuses with Piccolo to increase their chances. Meanwhile, Master Roshi ask the help of his sister, Baba, to bring Goku back for 24 hours. When the Saiyans arrive in the city, they find Syn Shenron waiting and the battle begins.
In this version of events, the Dragon Balls haven’t been overused like in the main timeline, so the Shadow Dragons are considerably weaker.
