How To - Naver Maps

The peak of technology at your fingertips, but you don't know how to use it. That's most South Korean phone apps and you'll find yourself struggling the first time you try to use it. The language barrier is immense and all you'll see is an alien language when you try to navigate through this app.

Don't worry though, we've got you covered. Ian and James at How to Korea will show you how to navigate through the hardest apps so that you can live a more comfortable life in South Korea.

From installing the Naver Maps app, to creating a Naver account, to reaching your destination, and all the different routes you can take, this video will show you everything you need in order to use Naver Maps to its fullest potential.

This one is a good one to know because Naver is basically the Google of South Korea. Any information you need, once you become a bit more comfortable with Korean, you'll find yourself using Naver.

Don't get me wrong, I used Google, and for the first 3 years that I lived in Korea, I couldn't get away from it. But you'll quickly find that the data on Google is outdated and sometimes not accurate, but Naver will always point you in the right direction.
