How To Clean Broadheads and Hunting Knives

Описание к видео How To Clean Broadheads and Hunting Knives

With a little care, your broadheads and hunting knives will last for a lifetime of hunts.

Step 1: Remove Surface Stains and Corrosion - 0:35
Start with the double-sided abrasive cloth. Begin with the pink side (most abrasive), and wipe away any stains or corrosion. This will leave a matte finish which you can then polish to a high shine finish with the white side if desired.

If you need to remove deeper scratches than what the abrasive cloth can remove, use the 1200 grit die-maker polishing stone. You can then use the double-sided abrasive cloth afterwards to polish the surface.

Step 2: Deep Clean Your Broadheads - 1:26
Use the Torx T6 L Key to remove the screw from your Iron Will broadhead. For this step, we recommend attaching your broadhead to an arrow so you can hold it more securely. Once the blades are removed, you can get to the entire blade surfaces more easily.

Once again use the abrasive cloth and diemaker stone to remove any stains or corrosion spots.

Step 3: Apply Blade Oil - 2:18
Once clean and reassembled, apply food grade mineral oil with our recommended blade oil pen to minimize corrosion while storing during the offseason or hunting. Push the pen's tip in to allow the oil to come out.

Once the oil is applied, use the microfiber cloth to wipe away any excess.
