This is the sequel to 2022's Queerios (   • Geometry Dash | Qweerios by GrenadeofTacos...  ). I still cannot believe that was over three years ago. I was not as involved with this level as I was with Queerios. Thank goodness for that because I did not want to pull an almost all-nighter building again...

As I did semi-accidentally pick both the same flag and the same predrop part, this offers the rare opportunity to see how I would approach the same concept twice and complain about my old self. We did have about a quarter of the time we had in Queerios to build our parts, so I will offer my current self some grace. My part in Queerios looks obviously copy pasted, even when compared to a part built in much less time. I do like many of the design ideas I had in Queerios. The usage of the flag as a connector for saws, the ground spikes/platforms smoothly integrating the flags into the design and the end part pulsing between the aromantic/asexual flags in a square pattern are my favorite pieces from that part. The designs also look significantly more detailed. I feel like this is to the part's detriment - the overuse of metal blocks and its object glow leads to a very bright white taking over the part. It's a part that happens to have a purple accent color, not one that represents a flag. Barely anything with the designs feel purposeful, they're just there to fill the space. In contrast, while my part here looks more generic, I think it does a much better job of representing the flag theme. The designs themselves were built to emphasize the striped nature of the flag, with clear sections leading from one color to the next. All of the colors are actually represented in the block designs too, instead of just stuffing them in the object/background color channels. I still would not say that this part feels like it represents a flag, but it does a lot better at it than my part in Queerios does. The hearts at the end of this part are very cute as well. I cannot take full credit for that idea. I also copied heavily from the original gameplay's structuring to save time (theorical is also much better at structuring).

I am impressed at how quickly I built this part. The ingame editor time reads ~7 hours, which was spread over two weeks. On the other hand, a solo level of mine has reached 14 hours of editor time with much less to show for it. There is probably something to be learnt here, but I am yet to be sure of what that is.

Anyways, congratulations to everyone else! They did a very good job. Thank you to theorical and GrenadeofTacos for inviting me to this level and believing in my ability to build quickly. Hopefully this level can get rated on the main servers.
