This video shows you how to replace the battery on a razor E175 electric scooter. This is an old model of Razor e-scooter, and it runs on two 12 volt lead acid batteries. Other razor scooter models are similar to this one, so if you have a razor E100 scooter or Razor E125 scooter, it would be the same process. To replace the batteries on a razor E1 75 e-scooter, remove all of the bolts that hold the deck onto the electric scooter. The two bolts at the back have nuts on the bottom that you’ll have to hold with a wrench while you turn the bolts. Next, unplug the battery connector from the controller, and also unplug the wires that go from the battery to the fuse. The power wires are soldered in place on the battery terminals, so you will have to use a soldering iron to get them free. The other option would be to buy a battery kit that comes with new wires. That’s a lot easier for a person who’s doing it themselves. Once you have wired up the new batteries to your Razor E175 e-scooter, You just need to put them back into place, plug the min, and put the cover back on, and then charge the battery and you are ready to ride.
