Summer is FINALLY here and in my opinion, one of the best times of year for our animals here in Idaho! The long winter is over and now ALL of our animals are going to head outside including Soni and Chompers the alligators, our snapping turtle, Snappy Pants, the water turtles, box turtles, “baby” tortoises Tucker, Taco, Toast, Tortellini, and Number 5, and our Blue-tongued skink, Topaz. But it all sounds easier said than done! A LOT of work goes into caring and preparing our exotic animals for the big move into their summer homes. The outdoor alligator pool needs to be drained, the water turtle ponds need to be cleaned, and our box turtle habitats need to be revamped! On top of that, I have to fill up the python pool for our pet Burmese Pythons, Shere Khan and Buddy. But there’s a problem!!!! Make sure to watch this entire video to find out how we move all the animals into their summer homes! PLUS I find a SHOCKING thing in the snapping turtle pond…You won’t believe it!
