I get asked a lot how I got trapped inside this snow globe. I then get asked what the legal limit is in New Hampshire for driving while intoxicated.

A lot of people think the legal limit is .08 but that’s misleading. It’s true that if your blood alcohol content is .08 or more, you could be convicted of #DWI. But, if your blood alcohol contact is below .08 you could still be convicted of DWI if the State can prove that you were impaired to any degree by #alcohol.

So, if you preform poorly on field #sobriety tests and then have a blood alcohol content of .07 or less, the State could potentially prove that you were #impaired to any degree by #alcohol and therefore guilty of DWI.

If you end up getting a portable #breathalyzer in your #stocking this year, that’s great, be aware that even if you’re under a .08, if you are even buzzed you can be convicted of DWI.

The safest thing to do is to call an @uber @lyft #taxi, etc., or have a #soberdriver. Plan ahead and have a safe and happy holiday!
