Youth Valley - Jean Moreas [Syd Sessions 2022 - Live]

Syd Sessions are casual meet and greet events that take place in Syd Records, a record store located at the beating heart of Athens, Greece. Artists have the opportunity to chat with their audience while people can watch exclusive gigs by both the ever-growing Athenian alternative scene and international artists that tour and stop by. Syd Sessions is a precious asset of the cultural life in Athens, broadly known for their excellent and affable events, which enrich the music activity in the city life.

Youth Valley’s style revolves around genres like new wave, post punk and 80’s indie-pop like The Cure, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart & The Smiths, dressed in a more contemporary shoegaze guitar-based coat, inspired by bands like DIIV.

The Band was created in 2019 and is currently based in Athens, Greece.

In the Syd Sessions, the band passionately performed six original songs of both older and new, unreleased material in front of a beautiful, and enthusiastic audience in the yard of 'Barrett', one of the most popular and critically acclaimed indie/pop/rock bars in Athens, Greece. This song is Young Sad Lovers from the self-titled EP released in 2020 digitally and in 2021 physically in 7" vinyl as double single (Young Sad Lovers // Untouched) by Make Me Happy Records.
