Walk Around and What to Look For | Segment 02 – 1956 NAPCO GMC Model 100

Описание к видео Walk Around and What to Look For | Segment 02 – 1956 NAPCO GMC Model 100

This video is a longer walk around with a detailed look at what is good and what is bad with this project truck. If you are looking to buy a truck for restoration, either by yourself or by someone else, this video will show you where the trouble spots are so that you can make sure you have a project worthy truck to begin the restoration process.

In 1956 GMC did not make a 4-wheel drive truck. If you wanted 4-wheel drive, you purchased a brand-new GMC truck for around $1,923, and turned to the North American Parts Company (NAPCO) who dropped out the front axle and installed a new NAPCO planetary front drive axle, a transfer case, and a shift lever bolted to the passenger frame rail.
