Dodge Hemi Teardown II: The Revenge Of The Rod Bearings

Ok, it turns out that this is technically a Poly engine. In this early run of engines, there was the "dual rocker" engine, which we know as the Hemi, and the "single rocker' engine, which we now know as the Poly engine (for polysphere, referencing the odd shape of the combustion chambers.) But the important bottom end components are all the same, and given that the first Hemi I tore down also had Poly pistons... I'm just going to forget all of this and move on.

A second 50s Dodge engine appears, as if by magic! At first glance, it seems to have everything I need to build one good engine using the top end parts from the first one. But, as is often the case, everything is not exactly as it seems... let's dive in and see if we can find whatever nightmares await.
