It honestly felt like 2019 again, due to the train being so huge. I knew this train would be over 70 cars, due to how long it took to clear the crossing at CP Magnolia. It's early arrival was unexpected too, as I expected it to arrive 45 minutes, but I could actually hear the horn about three minutes before! I had learned that this engineer had kept track speed of the W-Line from Spartanburg to Carlisle, where a friend of mine was also getting the train. Like I said before, I'm so glad I went out trackside today. I had hoped to get 243 too, but it for some reason didn't run today. I really didn't mind, since that train probably would've been disappointing. 243 can definitely trick you at times. One day, it'll be a decent size, and then the next, it'll be super short.
