2006 GSX750F Suzuki Katana

I bought this bike about a week ago and after riding it for about 5-10 min it turns off on me. I have to wait about 30 min for it to cool off then it’ll fire back up and the process repeats itself. I cleaned the carburetors and put new o-rings in them, new fuel filter, new battery, fresh premium gasoline, and new oil. Still turns off. I talked to a motorcycle technician cause I’m a do it yourself type of guy and he stated that it sounded like it could be the ignition pulse pickup coil. That it could test ok but under a load it will start to malfunction. If the problem persist that I should then replace the 2 coil packs that give spark to spark plugs. If problem still persist there’s one thing left to replace which would be the ECU “Computer” or some people might say the CDI Box. I opened gas tank & it is full of rust! I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it? If anyone out there has had this problem & resolved it please help me or share any info that might be related to your experiences.
